Friday
You are off work, and you have your VIP Card in hand and a friend in the other. It’s time to start your exciting weekend of Being A Tourist.
Start by heading downtown and having a 3 course meal at Lure Restaurant for 25% off, located at the Delta Hotel. Enjoy a lovely view of Victoria’s Inner Harbour while toasting the start of your weekend.
After you meal you can discover the past and go on a Ghost Walk, free with your VIP Card! The Ghostly Walk: Redlight & Chinatown starts at 7:30pm. After this tour you will never look at the streets of Victoria the same! Get ready to be spooked with great story telling by knowledgeable guides. SpringTide Whale Watching’s location is even featured..and it’s one of the most haunted.
After the tour ends at 9pm, you could pick up a Beaver Tail. They will be 50% off so you could even try 2. Cinnamon Sugar and Chocolate Hazelnut? Second dessert! Or have a hot drink after your ghostly stroll.
Saturday
Start you day by having a tasty brunch at Browns Social House between 10am-2pm, its 25% off. You want to make sure you are all done by 12:15 and dressed nice and warm because you will be on the water next!
SpringTide Whale Watching has Marine Wildlife Tours departing at 1pm and they are BOGO when you show your VIP Card. Get suited up and come aboard our Zodiac for an adventure with one of our knowledgeable Skippers. We’ll be out on the water around Victoria for 3 hours. There is lots of Marine Wildlife to be seen!
After you afternoon on the water, head to Sydney by the sea that evening to relax and watch a movie at the Star Cinema with 30% off tickets and treats. A nice way to unwind.
Sunday
The Butchart Gardens have free admission the weekend of February 23,24,25. Experience a peaceful stroll as you wander through the gardens. A relaxing Sunday morning activity at one of Victoria’s most popular tourist attractions. Don’t want to drive or bus to the Butchart Gardens? There is round trip transportation from downtown Victoria with CVS Tours, which is $10 when you present you VIP Card.
If you choose not to come back downtown right away (and if you are over 19) then why not head to Category 12 Brewing, located close to Butchart Gardens. Experience a local Victoria brewery and try a few different kinds of beer. Pick your favourite because you can get 2 12 ounce flights for the price of 1. Open until 4pm on Sundays. Drink responsibly!
If you are heading back downtown on the CVS shuttle, you can go to the Victoria Bug Zoo open until 5pm on Sundays. You can discover over 40 different species of bugs like glow in the dark scorpions, hairy tarantulas and stick bugs. You will learn lots and you can even be hands on. The Victoria Bug Zoo admission is 50% off with you VIP Card!
Finish off the weekend at Noodle Box for a delicious meal. Choose to eat in or take out, select Noodle Boxes will be 25% off. Only at the Douglas Street location.
