The Robert Bateman Centre
Explore the magic of nature in the heart of the city at the Robert Bateman Centre located at the Steamship Terminal. The Canadian born artist has spent his life travelling the world as a naturalist and painter. The Centre displays a distinctive collection of Robert’s work, unveiling major themes of Robert’s life expressed in the form of intriguing abstract art, paintings, drawings, sculptures, sketches, and lithographs. Visit the “Migrations: Travellers of the Salish Sea” featured exhibition from June 29th — October 8th 2017.

Looking to escape the summer heat and learn about the natural and human history of British Colombia? Then you can’t go past one of Canada’s greatest cultural treasures – the Royal British Colombia Museum. The Royal BC Museum strives to inspire curiosity and wonder in all those who visit. Butchart Gardens
Known as one of the most stunning collections of floral gardens in the world, Butchart Gardens is an attraction not to be missed! Take a stroll through the colorful 55-acre gardens which is situated just 35 minutes from Victoria via car. With an impressive history, you can explore the Sunken Gardens, Concert Lawn, Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, Italian Garden and Mediterranean Garden. Summer time offers spectacular evening entertainment from July onwards including a stunning night illumination display, evening entertainment, boat tours, and an exciting display of fireworks on Saturday nights.
