An exciting opportunity has become available for those pursuing a career in the Marine Tourism Industry. SpringTide Whale Watching is seeking fully qualified Whale Watching Zodiac Skippers for the upcoming 2023 Season.

Key areas of responsibility:

Self-Guiding three hour Whale Watching and Wildlife Tours from April to October
Sharing knowledge of the local Marine Wildlife and surrounding coastline
Responsibility for safety of passengers and crew on-board for full duration of tour
Responsible for maintaining safety equipment and following safety practices set by SpringTide

We are looking for individuals with:

A friendly, outgoing, self-motivated personality
A passion for the wildlife, the Pacific coastline and everything that makes Victoria so great
A desire to be a team player, communicating positively and clearly with co-workers
Flexibility in scheduling – weekend and evening work expected
Must have all Transport Canada certificates to drive Zodiacs commercially
